The first thing to consider is to select the size of the actuator motor according to the torque of the valve. The torque of the valve is generally between 1NM and 30000NM, and the motor is also about 0.25KW-15KW. The motor below 3KW can be controlled by the contactor and thyristor, and the motor above 3KW must be controlled by the contactor.

2. According to the process requirements of the customer's site, it depends on whether the door is a switch type or a regulation type. If it is a regulation type and the regulation is very frequent, silicon controlled rectifier must be used. Because the dark contact of silicon controlled rectifier can be regarded as unlimited use, and the service life of the contactor is 10000000 times.

3. The shutdown mode is the limit switch and torque switch that must be equipped for each actuator. If the limit switch is used for shutdown, the torque switch is used for protection, and if the torque switch is used for shutdown, the limit switch is used for protection.

4. The switch type electrical control mode is relatively simple, which can be said to be the simplest and can be used as a positive and negative rotation control circuit, while the adjustment type requires potentiometer or Hall element as feedback, which can be designed in combination with PLC or MCU.
