Correct installation method of electric valve

When the electric valve is installed, the electric device, electric actuator and valve together form an electric valve. The installation conditions of the electric device largely depend on the installation of the valve. In order to ensure that the electric valve can work correctly and reliably after being put into operation, in addition to ensuring the correct installation of the electric device, attention should also be paid to the installation of the valve. When installing the valve, attention should be paid to the requirements for its matching with the electric device.


(1) The valve shall be installed on the horizontal pipeline as far as possible and the valve body shall be vertical (the valve stem shall be vertical and above the horizontal line). This is because the best position of the electric device is vertical installation (the output sodium is vertical and installed above the valve body). From the point of view of the valve itself, the vertical installation is also beneficial, because the vertical installation is convenient for overhaul and maintenance; During horizontal installation, the sealing structure is easy to discharge pulse and not easy to maintain due to uneven temperature of valve components.


(2) The rotation direction of the valve stem nut shall be consistent with that of the output shaft of the electric device. From the valve rod end, the valve rod nut rotates clockwise to close the valve; Turn counterclockwise to open the valve, which is the standard rotation direction of the valve. When the rotation direction is inconsistent with the standard rotation direction, the valve should be modified, because it is much more difficult to modify the electric device, sometimes even impossible.


(3) The operating mechanism of important valves shall be guided to the position easily accessible to the personnel on duty, such as the platform with the same elevation as the control room. At this time, the electric device is floor mounted and connected with the valve through universal coupling.


(4) The valve stem nut shall be correctly assembled and lubricated to ensure good lubrication. For high-temperature valves, the valve stem nut part shall have a disc spring that absorbs the thermal expansion of the valve stem. If the valve lacks a link, the valve stem nut part shall be modified according to the site conditions to add a disc spring that absorbs the thermal expansion of the valve stem.


(5) The valve shall be well insulated to ensure that the operating temperature of the electric device can be within its allowable range. For high temperature valves, in order to reduce the impact of heat conduction on the operating temperature of the electric device, the valve support shall be high enough to ensure that the operating temperature of the electric device can be within its allowable range. When it is difficult to lengthen the support, heat sink can also be installed on the valve cover and support to ensure that the working temperature of the electric persuasion device is normal. The electric device and valve of universal coupling and landing support seat can even be installed separately to improve the working conditions of the electric device.


(6) The valve packing shall be compressed. In order to ensure the sealing of the packing, it is enough to make the radial pressure of the lower layer of the packing exceed the working pressure of the medium in the pipe. Excessive compression of the valve stem packing can not ensure the sealing of the packing, but also make the packing lose its elasticity and cause leakage.
